The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, September 11 reveals Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will keel over in pain.
Also coming up, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will learn about Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) new position. Plus, Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) will reach out. And Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) will lie to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
Y&R spoilers tease Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will visit his brother to check on him. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will ask what the latest is on Matt and Adam will say no one has seen him. So he’ll say he’ll see what’s up when he checks out, he plans on leaving the clinic by the end of the week.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Marie And Nick Share Emotional Kiss Goodbye
“I think that’s a terrible idea,” Adam will tell his brother. Nick will say stepping in to help Marie Kirkland (Jade Harlow) helped him too. And of course she’ll walk in the room. She’ll ask to speak to Nick alone and tell him she’s leaving town. Marie will credit him for her decision. She’s going back east to live near her parents. Then they’ll share an emotional goodbye kiss.
At the ranch, Victor will tell Nikki and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) there was an incident at the rehab clinic. Marie’s husband died after an altercation. “He’s been doing so well,” Nikki will say. “What if this triggers him?
She’ll tell Victor she’s going to be CEO of Vibrante but she’s worried he’ll interfere because of his hatred for Jack. She doesn’t want a new war with Jack or Jabot. “I’m just happy you’ll be running your own company,” he’ll reply. “I certainly have no intention of reigniting a war with jackass Abbott.”
Adam will arrive and say he was just visiting Nick. “The reason I am back is because the newly widowed Marie needed to speak with him privately,” he’ll add. But they’ll all be pleased when he tells them Nick wants to come home by the end of the week.
Meanwhile, Phyllis will begin her lunch with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). They’ll discuss Marie and Phyllis will say it’s weird she and Nick have gotten so close in such a short period of time. “I think we can both agree that Marie is the last thing Nick needs in his life right now.”
Sharon will say she doesn’t feel comfortable judging Marie but Phyllis will say she does. “She’s probably taking advantage of his vulnerability while he’s trapped in that place.” Sharon will notice she keeps checking her phone. “This has something to do with Matt, doesn’t it?” she’ll ask Phyllis.

But she’ll tell Sharon she’s all wrong. Then she’ll get a text from Matt saying the plan’s off and she’ll leave abruptly. Phyllis will head to the motel to confront Matt. He’ll say there was a lot that could have gone wrong. “What if you choked and you died,” he’ll add. “I just found you, I don’t want to lose you.”
Phyllis will suspect something else is going on. Matt will lie and say he’s just having second thoughts. However, Phyllis will find Patty’s sunglasses on the credenza and she’ll ask if they’re women’s sunglasses. “Whose are they?” Matt will say he doesn’t know. Phyllis will say she smells a familiar perfume. “What’s going on, who was here?”
At Jabot, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will find out Patty’s on the lam. Then Jack will get a call from Patty. He’ll say he was just thinking of her and ask where she is. Patty will admit she’s glad he survived and she’s not going after him and his family. “I have decided I’m going to leave town for good this time.”
Jack will lie and tell her he’d like to see her. “Don’t I deserve a proper goodbye?” But Patty will say she can’t she’s leaving the country. “It’s too bad really, it’s your loss, goodbye Jack.” Jack will hang up and ask his family if they believe Patty. “Not for a second,” Diane Abbott (Susan Jenkins) will reply.
He’ll say they need to draw her out and convince her she has the upper hand. “Come with me, I’ll show you.” So Diane, Kyle and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will follow him out of the office. The foursome will end up at Society. As Kyle and Billy head to a table, Jack will give Diane a look, as he starts holding his side. “Jack what is it, what’s wrong?” Diane will ask as Jack collapses on a couch.
Finally, Patty will wonder if Jack actually missed her or if he’s just playing her. “What if he was sincere?” she’ll say to herself. “Am I making a mistake leaving town?” But will Patty decide to stick around Genoa City after all? Stay tuned!
